Time to move on…Time to share…

I am going to dedicate this to the makeup that just doesn’t get any love…at all!!

Within the past 2 years I have accumulated A LOT of makeup(at least I think so). Mostly impulsive buys, but as I sit here and try to find the right words, I realize that there isn’t any “RIGHT WORD” to describe the craziness of my stash. 

I have too many foundations, lipsticks, and powders. None that have been ‘WOW’ factors for me and I am not really the type to keep things around and use it just to finish it. If I am not happy with something, why should I even force myself ….

Mind you I have returned a ton stuff back to their stores, and I have swapped through Makeup Alley(which is such a risk, because you can get swap lifted, happened twice to me.). Now I am trying something different. Donating! 

Found a couple of places in New York that do except donations of gently used or new makeup, and I am actually excited about the idea. It just feels right…

Listed below are places that except donations for the prom for high school girls, due to the Sandy storm or due to poverty, they are just unable to afford the things that a girl needs for her prom. As well as for women, who are homeless and living in shelters, and just need the right tools to help find jobs and feel good about themselves. 

So, if you are from NY and have tons of makeup, more than you can handle laying around, then please consider donation as an option…..
